The winter freezes of 2021 and 2023 took a heavy toll on our neighborhood trees. Anderson Mill lost one third of our tree canopy and is now considered a “high-need” area according to the City of Austin’s Tree Priority Map.

If you need to replace lost trees at your residence we have an event that can help!

Attend our Tree Planting and Care Workshop on Sunday, November 3rd, at Harper Park from 2-4 pm. 

We will have a Master Gardener speaking about the correct way to plant and care for the tree during its first few years and how to pick the right tree for the right spot in your yard.  There will be an opportunity for some hands-on experience planting three 5 gallon trees after the presentation and of course some really nice door prizes.
