Join with your neighbors in Austin, and throughout Texas, by getting your neighbors together outside on the evening of Tuesday, October 7, to get better acquainted, catch up with each other, and welcome new neighbors. NOTE: your block party can be on a different date in October if it is more convenient for you and your neighbors. The Anderson Mill Neighborhood Association is proud to sponsor and facilitate this event!
So, let’s register your party!
Step One: Register your block party by September 8 online with the APD Office of Community Liaison: https://www.austintexas.gov/sites/default/files/files/Police/2025-Public-Registration.pdf. The contact there is Joshua Lake and his email address is Joshua.Lake2@austintexas.gov. You can request first responder visits (APD, AFD, EMS) there also.
Step Two: Register your block party with the AM Neighborhood Association in the below form. AMNA will see that you receive a “Party Here” sign to direct neighbors to pray location and an HEB Gift card to help purchase food and party supplies.
Step Three: Register your event with the National Association of Town Watch (natw.org) which is the coordinator of NNO events in the USA. You will receive a free party guide and coordinator’s kit. Check their website for more information on block party ideas and NNO theme merchandise.
Thank you for registering for party! Let’s make this year’s National Night Out one to remember — with good food, great company, and a friendlier, safer community for all!
